• • Sing Your Song provided a workshop with Broadway Associate Director/Choreographer Jeff Whiting (Hairspray, Hair, Wicked, Young Frankenstein, The Scottsboro Boys, Jersey Boys and more). In this fun-filled, intensive audition boot camp, the students learned audition techniques and tips on how to “book the gig” on Broadway in a rapid-fire audition boot camp format designed for all levels of dancing, singing and acting. As an added bonus, Mr. Whiting provided a scholarship (valued at $2500!) for one workshop participant to attend a week-long workshop at his prestigious Open Jar Institute (www.openjarproductions.com) in New York City!

As a part of this workshop, Courtney Corey (who played ‘Elphaba’ in WICKED in LA & Chicago and ‘Maureen’ in RENT National Tours) taught some choreography from both WICKED and RENT.
